Lamentations 3:22-24 says,"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning: great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait on Him". Sometimes we are so impatient and want a quick fix but know that we need to wait on Him to work things out. It is a new morning and Becky is feeling a lot better. Of course 2 units of blood will do that for you! It was not a real restfull night with a lot going on but the fever has broken and she is a lot more alert. She doesn't remember much of anything about the first 12 hours after the transplant but that's probably best. There will still be rough days ahead but at least for today she is feeling better.
