Isaiah 61:10,11 " I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For He has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations."
This has been a pretty quiet and restful day here in St. Louis. We listened to our brother Richard preach on Jesus and his encounter with Matthew today and how we need to get outside the walls of the church building to witness for Christ. We read Scripture and had communion together too.
I think we are going to have to replace the batteries in the remote after Becky spent the afternoon flipping between channels watching golf, the Little League World Series and the Cardinals. It was an enjoyable afternoon.
Not much else happening here. Becky continues to feel good and get stronger every day. The Lord continues to provide all our needs and gives blessing after blessing.
Our Dad and his wife are planning on coming to St. Louis tomorrow and we ask that you pray for their safety in traveling here. We are looking forward to thier visit.
